where is everybody?

where is everyone at? hey 2slick where are the burn outs on the murray? lol :drive:

2SlickNick 09-18-2014 04:21 PM

Lol it does seem like no one else is around.....
I need new front rims. One of the used rims I bought is warped.
I need to buy another.

zman007007 09-18-2014 05:20 PM

what kind of rims do you need? size and bolt pattern size?

zman007007 09-18-2014 05:47 PM

I have 2 brand new rims that I bought just to get the tires off of them. I haven't checked the hole size pattern ,but it looks smaller than the ones on my Crossfire. I haven't even took the tires off yet. I bought them for the other Crossfire I had but never put them on.

Sorry so silent zman, but they have had me working from 4pm til 230am, I've been like a real life walking zombie!!!

2SlickNick 09-18-2014 11:01 PM

Hey Bear is here too, yay!

Lol

I need 5/8
Either a 4 of 6 inch rim.

wildbob 09-19-2014 10:16 AM

working like crazy, and camping and hammering my buggy when not. Drove my whip in the rain and shorted something out.. Every green wire on my harnesses heated up and melted..

wildbob 09-19-2014 10:18 AM

on the plus side, I ordered a new main harness, aux harness, and Stator from Go Powersports for $100 + $10 shipping...

zman007007 09-19-2014 11:06 AM

hey Bob seems like the only wire with power enough to short out that much stuff would have to be going straight to the battery.

zman007007 09-19-2014 11:07 AM

and sorry 2slick I don"t think the rims I have will fit your buggy.

wildbob 09-19-2014 11:23 AM

green wire from stator melted..Ground (green) wire to engine block melted.. melty-melt-mcmelterson... all seemed to melt when I cranked the motor after driving through several deep puddles during a downpour..

bear 09-21-2014 08:46 AM

God, I hate messing with wiring, it's really my only criptonite!

Simply put, school and new job have sidelined all buggy projects for the foreseeable future.

zman007007 09-21-2014 05:57 PM

well master that sucks lol

zman007007 09-21-2014 06:00 PM

I have a solution for you Master, the kids are already in school, so all you need to do is find them a job, then you have school and work covered and you can stay home and play with the buggy. lol

Bahaha!!!!
I think he means school for himself. Good to know we will have him back after that.

zman007007 09-22-2014 11:53 AM

well if the kids aint going to school he could get them an extra job. more money for the buggies. LOL

xlint89 09-22-2014 09:13 PM

I'm still around too, just really busy with other stuff.

Ditched that 39T sprocket and finally started running short WOT on my big bore rebuild.

Ha! The labor board would have a field day with me if I tried to get my two year old a job! The school thing is going to be for quite some time(2-4 years), but will pay off in the long run. Moving jobs has already broadened my prospective career moves, so things are looking up already. Trust me, when I get a free second and some spare change, I will at least get the Dazon back up and running. The Yerf on the other hand, may be headed to the scrap pile.

zman007007 09-23-2014 05:59 PM
