Emergency brake problem
 

Hello all,

Can someone point me in the right direction? I have a Hammerhead GTS 150. The E brake handle gets stuck and can not disengage without extreme, I mean extreme force. Is there an adjustment I can make to make it easier?

Sounds more like a lube problem. The cable should move freely, the brake handle is a ratchet type where the release button releases the ratchet. I would start with those 2 items making sure they both work freely on their own.

I pulled mine apart as it was messed up like yours when I bought it. the rod that is the button was rusted from being outside. I used my wire wheel on my grinder to clean it up then coated with white lithium grease and resembled and it is still working well over a year later. I do suggest storing the buggy indoors they last much longer out of the elements.
