strike a pose!

Nice buggy Slestakman, when or If I get another one I'm going with the spiderbox!

Thanks bear. I'm scared of the Spiderbox. Everyone talking about fabbing new front ends and all that. I can do mechanical and bolt ons all day long, but I have no tools or means to fabricate. I like the looks of the Trailmaster if I ever get another. I got my buggy up to 42mph today. WOO HOO

OOops

My bad I thought your buggy disign was considered "spider box". I like they way the trailbender looks, I can evision lots of crazy upgrades on it!!!:biglaugh:

Depending on where it comes from it can go by the name Spider 160r. Kandy makes a 250cc version with independant rear suspension. Oh....and a 250cc. I might go that route one day.

High dollar though. But I like the sound of 14hp and 13# of torque.

Smoooth!

I'll bet that is a comparatively smooth riding buggy, but It looks kinda low, whats the ground clearance?

SLESTAK75 01-22-2013 07:48 PM

I have about a 12" ground clearance. If you can find the Kandi version it looks like the frame and suspension is built a bit stronger. Kandi KD-150GKA2

Wow that is sweet, the pic is definitly decieving! that is one seriously wiiide front end! bet it corners awesome!!!

SLESTAK75 01-23-2013 07:56 AM

it is a BIG buggy. Thus the deception in the pic. When I first built it the front wheels were toed out and it turned really wide unless you were moving along more that 5mph or so and then it turned really nice. I have since tried to adjust the toe ( I think they are closer to straight now) and it turns wide no matter what speed. I'm going to try toed in a bit and see how that does. It seems to have the potential to turn very nicely if properly set up. I've been trying to figure out the "proper" setup. Any suggestions??

I just kept tooling with mine til I found what I liked!

SLESTAK75 01-24-2013 07:12 AM

Thats just about what ive been doing. I adjusted the toe in yesterday and bled a brake caliper that wasnt working and thats about all I could do. It finally got cold here in VA. In the 20s this morning getting down to teens tonight. Brrrrrr.
