That's awesome. Where did you buy it?

Haha - I hope you'll throw in the piston. The kit isn't any good without it! :)

How do these kits hold up long term? Does the crankcase have to be altered to accommodate the 8mm stroker crank?

Can you provide some numbers for installation information: How much does it need to be bored out? What is the deck height? Do you have any 4-valve pistons available for those with 4-valve heads?

yes it comes with a 62mm piston ready to go, i am throwing in a 64mm piston set to get more displacement.

cranks need some clearance on some engines only on the oil pump bump.
easy to do. use a dremmel to take out material, but i hve installed a ew and had no problems exept on the parts for scooters 180cc kits.

blocks need to be bored on some engines also to fit the cylinder on. but some buggies dont need to be bored. deck hight remains the same as factory. the crank comes with a spacer theat you will need to run the stroke.
i would not recomend a 4 valve because it is mainly for top end, 2 vavle head can make alot more power on low end.
I have a scooter with 187cc and alot of head work, i can hit 85mph and do wheelies. 2 vavle head.
also i am building a 232cc gy6 good for about 90+ mph

if anyone buys this set up they can send me the stock head and i can port polish it for max power. for an additional $100. it is a $250 port job. plus shipping

check this link for my work

you could have the piston machined for clearance. but like i said the 2 vavle will net more power to the pants.

Very Very interesting item. any idea what average cylinder head temps are compared to air cooled?
I take it that is a electric water pump with the system. what is the amp draw on that motor?
is it a constant flow or on a thermostate?
does this system eliminate the need for flywheel fan and motor shrouds

achidotcom 12-21-2009 10:11 PM

temps are about 100 degrees lower.
electric pump
no thermostat but there is a radiator cap to increase boiling point of the fluid.
still need a flywheel, timing and charging is controlled by the flywheel and stator
