Yerf dog clutch trouble.

I have a little belt wear issue with a yerf dog 2303 ( think thats right )

7 inch secondary 30 series running the 91 belt.

Here's where its interesting.
I grafted this clutch to a MB165
As seen here.

The belt apears to ride too high in the primary clutch and is wearing bellow the cord line.

Is this a common problem and if so what is the best solution?
slot and increase the distance between the promary and secondary?

Everythig is lined up correctly before you ask....
And one more curve ball these are chinese parts I got from Ebay.
The jack shaft is BMI and the shaft itself is custom
Power is a clone witha few tricks but nothing grosely over powering.

Everything is brand new no rust.....
Correct parts and belt.

Has anyone had issues with the Chinese driver units?
I suspect the tollerences are too far out olf whack is one of my problems.

Wow.

Not a single new reply....

OK then I guess I am on my own.....

So far I decided there was room for improvement.
I tinned the groves and all the contact points inside the moving member on the 30 series primary.
Then I made a bull nose steel bushing for the stationary shaftr that sits in front of the the brass.
I hardened this with some tough N hard for long life then tinned the inside of it and the brass bushing.
I polished all the surfaces of the clutch that needed to move smootly ending with some 600 grit.
I trimmed my Garter springs and tightened up my rear spring tension.

Big improvement.

Everything moves much smoother now and does not bash itself to pieces when the power come on.

But the secondary is still too soft.
So I will change that to a yellow I ordered.

I will change from the 54 to a 60 tooth rear as well to push the power down to a lower speed.

I Changed Lubricants
I cleaned all the parts with Xylene to remove any paint and factory lube/coatings and reasembled it with some Crown Moly chain lube.
Justa little because this is a wet product.
I then ran this through and cleaned every drop of excess.

Now its working better.
But there is more room for improvement......

Next the yellow spring and maybe some different garter springs.
I am going to increase the C to C on the primary and sec a touch too.
