The whole "front mounted gas tank between the legs" thing bothers me.

you're from NC? on a shifter kart that's where the tank goes!!!

I never really liked the tank between the legs thing either...man if there was a fire...not cool!

joshstep1 08-16-2010 09:52 AM

Haha, I can just see that happening.

kartkidbirel 08-16-2010 11:58 AM

Never actually seen a metal tank on a kart before haha, 2 stroke or 4 stoke. Ive only heard of 1 kart catching on fire though and luckily it wasnt the gas tank.

Thats way over priced btw, incase you were thinking of buying it.

No, not NC. I'm in Myrtle Beach SC, I just scan thru the NC CL every now and then. That maybe where the tank goes, but it looks kinda rigged to me.

And no, I have no intentions on buying it, just came across it.

Kartjet52, yea as you can see on some of my pics thats where they are on all racing karts. But after looking at that you're definitely right about it being rigged, looks like its the kind of tank that would sit atop the engine. if you could get it a bit cheaper though, it would be pretty fast and fun just to mess around with.
