Just picked up a Hammerhead 250 SS a week ago that had been sitting in somebody's front yard. Its going to need some TLC (paint, clutch, belt, variator) It supposedly has the Hi/Lo trans and looks like its going to be a bear to find parts for for decent prices. I just got the belt off and the carb cleaned and fired it up for the first time (for me). The previous owner broke the shifter arm :blackeye: will have to determine the cause of that.

Welcome, these things are a lot of fun. Fixing one up is a way to learn all about your buggy. Making it a easy to keep it up and running.

I'm from Sebring. I'm in the process of getting the variator and clutch replaced/rebuilt/fixed. I helped a friend work on his 150 a bit before getting this 250. Its nice they are simple enough to easily fix them.
