Yamoto 70cc quad
 

I just picked up a like new 70cc yamoto quad for my kids from a guy at work. his kids put the battery in backwards and now it wont start. I am sure they burned a wire or something simple. I am confident I can find the electrical gremlin in it to get it running again. Looks like it will be a good learning machine for the kids. I know the motor is a honda clone of some type but not sure if it is gy6 based like the buggy. could I possibly make it a 150cc by swapping out the top end or the like if it is? Does anyone else have one of these atvs?

got the quad up and running today there was a broken headlight bulb that was shorting out and popping main fuses. pulled the bad bulb ordered 2 new ones. sprayed the carb with some cleaner and put fresh gas in it with a bit of seafoam in it to help clean carb as well. once got the old gas out of carb it started right up. adjusted the idle a little bit but other than that it was running around the property. The kids were ecstatic as was the wife. Then i get on it and give the boy a ride and all I can think of is chris farley fat saying fat man little quad in my head.....
