Happy belated 4th.

Took me a minute on the pictures , I was like why are they putting all those 12 packs of pop , and beer on the street ??? ---- OH I SEE , KER POW !
By the way , got that cable from BMS , Wrong one , not the one pictured . They kinda pieced one together . Wrong threaded end , so they included the proper fixture for the gearbox . Wrong ballend on trans end , so they filed it down to 1/4" ( looks like a mini disco ball ) , and 1.5" to much cable ( wouldn't engage reverse ) So time to get creative : Notched the engine cradle tubing so the WRONG radius end on the cable would clear it , added an extra threaded slotted adjuster to the shifter end of cable to take up the slack , filled the cable with 30 wt oil , .......and Yey , got reverse again .

Glad you were able to fix your reverse. I believe you definitely need reverse on these buggies. I've ordered from them several times and they've always been good. Sorry they sent the wrong cable.

10/4 I don't think it was wrong out of neglect , I think they went out of their way to provide something workable , they modified it and also included gearbox parts to adapt it . Got no problems with that at all , did me right . So many of these buggy's come from the same gene pools I wondered about parts availability when I bought it . Discontinued model almost immediately , and advertised as an upgraded Talon , also defunct .
