Harbor Freight Predator Engine In Buggy?

Has anyone done or know about putting in a harbor freight predator engine in a buggy and swapping out the gy6?

Seems like it would make the buggy scream and have great torque.

However, what would be available for reverse?

If it were me, I'd stay with the GY6 150. Is your GY6 not running?

I have two buggies, one running stock and the other Roketa 150cc decided to tear down to frame to repaint and rebuild the engine all the way.

However, 150cc gy6 is not the most powerful engine that is for sure. Fun but I think I would always like a bit more power no matter how much performance I put into it.

So considered the predator as it has more cc and hp.

For that kind of $$ I'd be looking for a quad to gut.

I know a little bit about it. See my Spiderbox 420 project:

TygerBuggy,

Very clean looking buggy. Did you find the predator to have more power and speed then a gy6 150 hopped up?
