Kandi spyder 300ex swap

Anyone done anything like this? Looking for ideas for the exhaust mostly at the moment as the stock exhaust from the 300ex donor bike was cracked in several places at the head pipe.

Pictures of current progress to come.

Test fitting the new swinger:

Different pics of swinger with motor in (not finished, still have to brace it better):

Still have a bit of work to do yet but its coming along. I started this project because I twisted the original rear end and snapped it in 3 places. The 300ex needed a ton (all the chassis bushings shot, and all the shocks were blown, and the frame was cracked) of work and wasnt worth fixing but the motor ran great.

Did you swap the axle around to line up sprockets? It is going to be a beast.

Yes I did flip the axle. I'm up in the air about using the 39 tooth sprocket or putting a 45 tooth sprocket on it. Stock on the 300 is 13/39 and with the extra weight I'm thinking the 13/45 might be a better choice and it wouldn't be hard to mod the sprocket or hub. The bolts are only 1/8 inch off on an lt230 sprocket

That is good to know, I have a 150 single seater I was thinking of replacing with a 400EX with reverse. My 150 when stock I used the 40T sprocket but after my rebuild which brought me to a 200cc I went back to the stock 32 T sprocket. I still have plenty of low end but increased my top end by 6 mph. I would check hoe it performs with the 39T first.

Sadly, with the weather the way its been I may not make it to the testing stages until spring lol. Today its 45 yesterday was 25. Everything keeps freezing.. then flooding.. then freezing.. then flooding. It's been a real mess, but I figured I could at least figure out how I'm going to do this exhaust and get a plan of action for it while I'm stuck inside lol.
