American Sportworks Helix Parts List

1 Attachment(s)
Thought I would post the parts list for the Helix (model 6150). If you need factory parts, use this to get the part number, then go to gokartsrus link from the left column on the home page and put your part number in there to check pricing.

I put the service manuals under the GY6 Tech section.

can you post a link on gokartsRus.com for a seat belt there isnt a parts number on mine.... if not thats ok.

BuggyMaster 09-27-2009 08:39 PM

I'll find it. Gotta warn you though that seat belt is one of the expensive parts at like $54 if I remember right.

My boys busted the reverse bracketry on the helix. The parts diagram above doesn't show any reverse parts. Can anyone suggest a dealer that has the part on the shelf? I need them here by Saturday, as we leave Monday for a trip with the buggies, and They really need reverse for the trail riding we will be doing.

BuggyMaster 05-12-2010 08:54 PM

Which parts did they bust? At the handle or at the engine?

jimd 05-12-2010 09:51 PM

At the lever. They lost the lever somewhere in the woods, but I can make something for that. The disc in the center that the handle goes through just crumbled. Very bad design. I could machine something if I had a slug of aluminum, but I really don't have time.

foxracer45 if possible e-mail or pm me a pic of your belts I believe they are the same as the Blade,Carter and Hammerhead belts. I have some new takeoffs from when upgrading to 5 point belts for 25.00 TOM

BuggyMaster 05-13-2010 01:19 PM

Jim, the new levers disks are made of metal. Just like the rear plastic gear part at the engine. They make that in metal now as well. I'll see if I have the part number. Seems to me I ordered one of these last summer.

BuggyMaster 05-13-2010 01:22 PM

14478 is the part number. It is the handle and the wheel section that it is attached to. Again, these are metal now, no longer plastic.

if i were to gut my exaust what size jet would i need, i think im going to get fmf and uni airfilter but was just curious on the gutted exaust. I still have the stock one that comes with the helix

SYCARMS 01-04-2011 08:36 AM

It will depend on where you are located as far as elevation. In most cases a uni with either a gutted or fmf muffler will require a .123 to .125 jet. Feel free to give me a call @ 662-301-1563

Unfortunately because of how the caliper mount is, there is nothing else which will fit . Don't know why but it is double the price of the common caliper used. I can get you that caliper. With the buggymasters discount $90.00.
