Question About Using a Honda Motor in a Go Cart
 

I have a GS340 11 HP Honda engine in a pressure washer; the pump is bad, and I no longer need a pressure washer. Could such an engine be used in a go cart? It runs perfectly, and I hate to trash it. I have not disassembled the pump system from the engine, and have no idea what size/type of output shaft it has.

Only one way to find out--take her apart and find out. As long as it isn't a tapered shaft or something really oddball or super short, it'd likely be possible.
