has park but wont start

I recently traded a jet ski for 2 buggys 1 runs fine but has some clutch issues and the other has spark but will not start witch leads me to believe the timing has jumped or the woodruff key has sheered off' but I can find nothing on how to fix it and im having a hard time finding the prts i my need i do not want to just tear into the motor with nothing to go by. Please help any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

Both of the buggies are water cooled 250's I don't know what brand they are. 1 uses a dual chain drive with independent rear suspension and the other uses cv axles and independent suspension as well. Thanks again for any help.

Nobody has anything? Am I right in thinking the timing has jumped or its a sheered woodruff key? I have no experience with these karts and I do not know anyone that has one.

as for the buggy with spark, check ur valve clearances to make sure theyre right & then ur carb!

Post pictures. I think the dual chain model is a GK13 and the other is a GK06. They are made by Goka but sold as Roketa. Both engines are CN250 with different final transmissions. The basic engine was used in the Honda Helix scooter.

The red buggy has a vin plate that says SQ-GKB I can find no plate on the other 1.

Check the master cylinder. Make sure it is filled with brake fluid. Check the kill switch (if so equipped) and make sure the petcock (again if so equipped) is on and allowing fuel into the carb. Check the fuel tank to see if there is fresh fuel in it. Try starting fluid. If the timing has jumped as you suspect you have 2 alternatives...Rebuild the existing engine or purchase a new one. Look for a number stamped onto the engine. Do a search for it on line...you may get lucky.
