Finally got my carb situation worked out! Thanks to Tom at Syc for the help! Now...
My buggy won't start! The ignition will turn on, but the starter motor won't turn over. I CAN however start it with jumper cables going to the starter. I haven't found any bad connections yet and I'm wondering if it might be the solenoid? It isn't clicking or anything. I did have to jump start a lot when I was having my carb problems. I checked the fuse and replaced it even though it looked okay. At this point I'm considering just wiring in a start button
Warm weather's here and I'd rather spend it riding than wrenching lol!
Any suggestions?

Using a test light or volt meter check for power at the small wire usually y/g or y/r at the solenoid with ign. switch in the start position. If power is present, solenoid is the cause.
