Hi I have a 2008 Baja dn250 go kart that I am having trouble with what is going on is that when I go to start the buggy it cranks over and keeps cranking over even with the ignition off so I hurried and disconnected the positive terminal to stop it from cranking over now when I touch the positive with the terminal it sparks and cranks over with the ignition off and the key out please can anyone help with this

I would assume it's the starter solenoid stuck in the closed position.
