tire/wheel/bolt problems on helix

yesterday i had to tighten my wheels on the helix. I just got them good so i snugged them up....then ........they stripped out!! so then i tried to put the stock wheels on and at least 1 bolt on each side broke! im so mad

now it wobbles......ALOT!

you can barely ride it
looks like I'll be ordering some new hubs.............................................. .................................................. ..............................................

that sucks! You might be able to just replace the lugs. I'll have to look at mine.

cool, hey, if you have the stock jet in, it would be running lean right? But mine is acting like its getting too much fuel because its backfireing because some of it is getting to the exaust unburned. so do you think that i should still switch the jet??

BuggyMaster 07-25-2009 12:25 PM

Backfiring is a sign of being lean. I'd look for an air leak.

Most of these carbs need jetting. Something about their supplier. I have to get a new carb for one of these helix buggies because the carb is machined horribly. They really need a new supplier for their carbs. I put a 130 in all of mine and they run rather well and the plugs look beautiful on them.

ok i'll b going to town later i probly could get one today ii'll check for a leak too
