250 Roketa belt lenght help
 

Just repalce the cvt and clutch. The old belt is lost. What is the proper belt size for my GK 06? I purchased a 828mm but its to short.

cn250 belt is 828x22.5

I called the dealer I purchased the buggy from and they tell me 871mm, but then when I called back they said what you reccomend. I am thinking I needed the 871 belt.

if i am correct the gk06 has a cn 250 w/ a direct drive gear box (no chain).
if the is the case then the belt size i told you is correct. some pictures of the buggy/ engine my confirm or clear up confusion. i run a cn250 in my wife's buggy and that is the belt size i keep on tap.

I have the Roketa GK-06 buggy also. Mine is a 2005 and uses the 828-22.5-30 belt. If yours is a different year it's possible that you need to use a different belt size. Not sure if this will work but you can try using a rope or wire from the variator to the clutch pulley just like the belt would ride and then measure it. The first number is the length in millimeter's. If you get it just right and measure it you should be close enough to determine what your belt size should be.

The belt you have should be the correct size. I have worked on the GK06 and it took the standard CN250 belt 828x22.5x30. It is not unusual for Roketa to switch things up which would be known by the exact model # with the corresponding letter after. If they used the CN250 long case the belt used would be 918x22.5x18 and if they used the cfmoto 250 which I have never seen at Roketa it would be a 868x22.5x30. How short is your belt. As stated by Jersey Devil post some good pics of the engine both right and left sides.
