If you have power from stator, cdi box, coil, then I would say it is the rectifier.

Whats a rectifier? The atv scooter world is completely diffrent from lawn mowers etc. The 4 wire looks like a heat shield

The rectifier is usually a small black box with 4 wires going into it...mine has the white wire and the yellow wires that come from the magneto plugged into it...it usually sits real close to the CDI box...if u GOOGLE rectifier for gy6 150 it will give u a good idea...hope this helps

The rectifier is easy to notice as it typically has fins. It is also usually not in the electrical box area but rather bolted to somewhere on the frame in the engine area.

How does it affect spark its just for charging? The battery ive got a 3 wire key switch i guess its eired correct i cant find a wiring diagram for it

I will test mine and see if I pull the wires from rectifier if it will still start.
