Odyssey tire question

Newbie to the forum and scene.
I looking to buy a 1983 fl250 Odyssey. Great shape but original tires.

Since there is no suspension in the rear, I want to go as big as possible on the rear tire replacements.

What is the largest tires that work well on an Odyssey? I'm on forest roads and some trails in the NW. No sand etc.

Thanks

I had one many years ago and I believe it had 22" tires with 8" rims. I don't know if you can find 25" tires for 8" rims. My ATC200 has 9" rims with 25x12-9 tires and they bounce pretty good. Go with low pressure floatation type tires. They only need 2.2 psi and cushion bumps well.

Ok thanks.
I found these 22x12.5x8. They seem the biggest I could find for an 8" rim.

I have 22x12x8's (mudlites) on my FL250 rearend frankenbuggy and they'll fit with room to spare. I'm too old for that bouncy ride!!!!!
