$2300 is asking way too much, in my opinion. You can find 250s cheaper than that new. Powersports Max is one site you can buy them from.

It's funny how much some people price their stuff on the GON site(mostly JUNK). I knew it was way too much. In the next few day's they will start dropping it where the price should be.

BuggyMaster 01-25-2010 09:46 AM

If they are starting out that high, likely going to take a while before it gets to an actual buy/sell point.

powersports max does not have a good reputaion, check their BBB record.

joshstep1 01-28-2010 07:46 PM

Im looking to get a buggy in the spring. Looking for a 250cc, any suggestions? looking to spend up to 2,500

BuggyMaster 03-03-2010 03:56 PM

spend the extra $$$ and get the carter GTR brand new shipped for $2999. That is a steal. I'm still tempted myself.

bangonroofer 03-03-2010 04:28 PM

Well the thing is, is I live in canada. the buggies ive seen for sale around here, are which ive heard good things is the Hammerhead, and Dazon. I like the look of the CIO, but not sure what man the engine is, i think from china. I do like the carter GTR. I dont know alot about buggies ive always wanted one ive raced motocross my whole life. So i just need something thats fun to take to my camp.

thanks

BuggyMaster 03-03-2010 04:31 PM

seems to me the exchange rate is in your favor isn't it? Could probably get one even cheaper.

BuggyMaster 03-03-2010 04:31 PM

Also, I think HH has a large division in Canada so you wouldn't have to pay to import from the U.S.

bangonroofer 03-03-2010 04:45 PM

Also is there a HUGE difference in power between a 150 and 250 for holding two adults?

BuggyMaster 03-03-2010 04:55 PM

yes. Significant.

bcplayer76 03-03-2010 05:02 PM

you all are making me want a 250 but i couldn't pass up my 150 for $300.00 but i now see why it was that because i haven't even got to have fun in it yet.lol

KID4LIFE 03-03-2010 09:34 PM

bangonroofer..............if your in Canada you have one up on us guys from the states. YOU can get the hammerhead Mako 500cc!!!!.....
i would love to have one of those suckers but.........i'm sure they're not the cheapest buggy on the market right now. i've e-mailed hammerhead a few times to find out how much they are and i get no response. if you can find out, i would love to know the price tag on one. i might scare me!

EJ Mac 03-04-2010 11:56 AM

Yeah it would be nice to roll up to Canada and bring one of those bad boys back.

bige 03-04-2010 03:21 PM

you can if you want to pay the import fees and taxes:eeek::eeek:

hollywood 03-06-2010 09:11 AM

i seen those 500 makos on kijiji, there is a dealer about an hour from me in New Brunswink havent had the time to actually go see one for myself yet though and there going for 9995 can quite pricey but awsome machine for sure

HOUSEOF3CHIX 03-07-2010 08:54 PM

BuggyMaster 03-07-2010 09:17 PM

post up some pix.

bige 03-08-2010 02:50 PM

you might want to check with them on that. The carter gtr he has are the close out models. he paid the close out price, the same price as I paid for my the last one I sold. All the gtr's are at close out prices and are AS IS NO WARRANTY, unless the dealer gives a warranty

KID4LIFE 03-08-2010 05:52 PM

my philosophy is...buy used. i've been married for 20 years and my wife and i have never purchased a new vehicle by choice. we would rather let someone else take care of working the "bugs" out and a new vehicle depreciates once you drive it off the lot. same goes for anything else in my opinion...cars, trucks, buggies, etc. It's never been a case of not being able to afford it but why pay top dollar for something if you don't need to. the only downside is the warranty but if you shop smart you'll be o.k.
