Odyssey top end speed.
You all might get a good laugh out of this....
I have been wondering since I bought this thing just fast it will go? Well I finally conned my wife into trying too pace my Odyssey with her Yukon the other evening. We went up on a road not far from or home, and I let it rip for about a 1/4 of a mile on a flat road. When we got home, she claimed she was running 70 mph. I asked her if she was sure, because I didn't think it would run that fast, but She swore that's what her speedo showed. I was still in a bit of disbelief, so I had to do it again only this time i borrowed a GPS and strapped it to the steering wheel. http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o...0/HPIM3657.jpg I rode it back over to the same stretch of road to do it over again. :D I made two runs and on the first run at just over 50 mph I ran it out of gas, and had to pull over to switch to reserve to get it going again. :banghead: So I turned around & started over again the other direction. On the top end it did sputter a little bit that I don't remember it doing the day before, so I got out of it. I am guessing it may have leaned out, possibly because the fuel was really low and it was on reserve?? Any way here are the results from my little "Test" http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o...0/HPIM3656.jpg Just curious, has anyone else checked to see what top end is on your buggys, or am I the only big dork on here? |
Thats Fast!!! I have a 2007 Tomberlin Crossfire R 150cc and clocked a top speed of 46 mph. maybe theres room for TWO engines :)

Yes, this 350 runs pretty strong. I need to dig out the GPS and go back out again since I have had the top end apart. It feels like it runs a bit stronger now. :D

No surprise to me. Those are awesome machines! Very cool! I never did get a chance to top speed check our Honda Pilot. It's not real neighbor friendly.
