Got the 3" spacers for the rear. It looks so much better and I can also go with wider tires in the rear if needed
. Drove it around and rear axle hasn't given me any trouble. I let my buddy drive it and he went over a fallen tree a little too fast. The whole rear end went up in the air and landed pretty hard (axle is still fine though!!).

The pigs came knocking on my door for driving the kart around the house (was testing the new spacers). I "barely" went on the roads (that bad turning radius) and he got me for that. He didn't see give me a ticket because he didn't see me do it. It was most likely some nothing-better-to-do neighbors called to complain.
Was planning on selling it but I think I'm going to keep it. I put too much time and money into it to get rid of.
