Honestly... Sheer laziness, it was always on the to do list and I just never got to it. My oldest daughter started riding the 350 Odyssey and wanted to move up. My youngest is just 7 and the way the Yerf runs now, she scares the h*ll out of me when she drives.
Now that we have the side by side Ody, the Yerf doesn't get used much unless it is here close to the house and it does fine around here. I have a few more years before the youngest is ready for a Pilot or Ody so I am sure there will be many more mods to come for the Yerf.
