I think they would probably work well. I have the preload set to the firmest setting now but you could easily soften them up for your spider box. I used to run a set of TRX shocks on my daughter's Spiderbox and liked them with me riding it, but they were to stiff for her weight. I finally removed them and used a pair of 350 Ody front shocks exactly like what I just removed and I think they work very well on her Yerf. You might consider trying something similar to them on yours.
