Actually the terms watts is used for the amount of power that they consume. Check to see if they have a rating in lumens or candle power. This is the actual measurement for the amount of light that they will produce. Also check to see what the light pattern is. Is the light casting a round beam like a spotlight, or is it directional such as a flatter pattern.
