as long as your heims aren't at their travel limit when the suspension is topped or bottomed out they'll be fine.
to help avoid bumpsteer, try to get your rack's pivot points even with the pivots of the a-arms and the tie rods and arms parallel.
often it's easier to raise or lower the outer tie rod mounting height on the spindle to get there given there isnt much room for the rack itself.
