i know it looks rough but it works realy well, turning the wheel is very easy and smooth un like the previous setup. the previuosnset up was fubard and the kingpin was bent all to heck. the rack and pinion was from an old drill press. the casing was cast so i built a box around it and a little at a time i welded them together, i heated up the cast berfore hand.both of my neighbors are wicked welders and they said as long as the cast is not too cold when welding it will do fine. and as for the brake linkage i am gonna gusset them to avoid this problem in the future.
