ok, so to clarify here's what I need to do. Cut the brown wire and remove the black wire I added completely from the circuit. Then, get a ring lug, connect it to the mounting bolt at one end and the other end either to the (-) of the new battery, or to the same spot as the engine battery ground is connected? Do they make ring lugs that big? lol
Also I'm not 100% sure about the smart cdi, i'm sure I knew at one time, I believe it is AC if that helps, here's a link to what I got
