I have several of the Milwaukee hole saws which have been great still since there 15+ years old. Four years ago I purchased one 4" to drill my bed when installing my hitch for the goose neck trailer. It immediately shattered so I returned it and was given another but the same thing happened and was told that it was do to something I was doing. Been using hole saws for 40 years. I then purchased the Lenox saw and it worked flawless and now I recently have done the same to my Dodge. When I bought my H/F tube notcher I replaced some of my old warn out Milwaukee saws 5/8 and 1". I used the 1" twice to drill out the end of the GY6 muffler, teeth are broken. It seems that the Milwaukee saws are too brittle just as most of the cheaper Chinese saws most carry today. I just paid a pretty good amount for a complete set of Lenox 5/8" to 4 1/2" and have used a couple of them going through anything from sheet metal to 1/4" plate and they are holding up well.
