I have my detachable mitre saw platform frame work done.
"Have to turn your head left I can never make these pictures straight."

I used some twisted iron I found and some more stainless angle.
Made the tabs and mounted the saw's field flush with top. When ever I get a top to my table I can always add washers or shims to raise the saw.

(not pictured) I did weld some washers to the twisted metal ends to keep it from sliding off the side of tabs.
