For the thin stuff, you might also see what a muffler shop would charge to do it, the stick/arc welders are cool as hell, and can produce awesome welds, but structurally and aesthetically, but are hard to get the thin stuff down without blowing holes in it. Even flux is tough to get the thin stuff, I reattached the head pipe to the flange on the yerf using flux, and it was a challenge for sure, it ain't pretty, but it held.
