So the other day I ordered some HD ball joints, rack booties and tie rod ends, and as of now I've tried (unsuccessfully) to remove the old BJs and...they don't have a snap ring. Trust me I looked it over very carefully, NONE AT ALL. idk how to get it out. Help
Nevermind. I found the little bastards.... I managed to get two off with "ease" (gotta remember, they're c-clips, its never gonna be easy) and I little had to cut off one other with the angle grinder (careful not to mess up the a-arm tabs). I still have one more where the c-clip isn't even raising at all...so I might have to cut it as well...oh well. 3/4 is good right now. I forgot to mention that everything came today. So I have one tie rod end on one side of the rack, and the other (old) end won't come off... :/ Still working on it. One project sitting in the vice the other on the work bench. Life is good
