Fronts are nearly done. need to fab and tack in mounts for the right lower a-arm and verify both sides are hanging level and the shocks are in line with the caster angle and each other. I got the last shock mounts a bit crooked in that regard, so i was glad to see them gone. These will get back and side braced with tubing.
As to travel #s front and rear, not quite sure yet, getting into the stoopid range.
And finally, i have my donor LTZ. 440, cammed and hmf ballance pipe. has a bad starter and is missing the starter gears. took care of both of those items and had my grounds helper drag me behind hsi truck to bump start it.
Let's just say i might want some depends if i were to keep and ride this quad
Should make for a fairly competitive race season, i might just chop the front end of the quad frame behind the a-arms ad weld the whole works in place in one shot. will make life a lot easier, though there is still plenty to do to make it all work (controls, rad, sump)
