Thanks, she had a blast. I am almost to embarrassed to tell you all what was wrong with it but here goes... The brake switch has never worked as long as we have owned the buggy so she is used to just hitting the button and it starting. well I guess when she hit the water it got wet & shorted the brake switch into working. Then when she shut it off, neither of us thought to push the brake pedal before trying to restart the buggy.
The next day I went out to see what was wrong with it and when I couldn't by pass the starter switch and start it I started tracing wires looking for a break somewhere. It then occurred to me to check the brake switch and I pushed it with my hand and hit the starter and it fired right up. Boy did I feel stupid
