Your probably using fuel faster than the stock system can deliver, common problem. You run for a few minutes until the carb empties, motor stalls, carb slowly fills again , runs good until......
Upgrade your fuel line to a larger size, do the same with the fuel filter. Use a large capacity filter. Use clear line so you can observe the flow. if you have a vapor lock problem you will see gaps in the fuel flow or the line isn't filling up.
If you have a vacum operated fuel petcock under the tank [has two hose running to it one hose is gas, one hose from a vacum source to open the valve when the motor starts] Trash it! They are notourious for failing Replace with a manual shut off. Block off the vacum line, You won't need it any more.
