Well half the time when I go and turn the key, I just hear the starter relay click, nothing else. The starter won't budge. If I let go (doesn't seem to matter how long) it usually works fine again. Usually takes 2-5 times of toggling the starter position on the key until it'll turn over.

Edit: Also, I took it for a spin today and heard an abrupt change in the sound coming from the muffler. Pulled into the driveway and noticed that a small metal disk was sticking halfway out the muffler. It looks like it's some sort of filter. I think something inside is still rattling, too. Looks like I might need a new muffler. This one's rusting and falling apart.
