Your pipe looks fine(green isn't my color either!!) You may find that the all thread won't survive though- exhaust always needs to be supported from the engine- the two seperate parts moving differently will make something break,leak or stay loose. I lived this issue with many exhaust mod's and pipe failures/cracks or constant leaks- and broke exhaust studs.
