It doesn't have to be rough for the neck brace to help. After track days I'd drive home in a lot of neck pain from the weight of the helmet and all the cornering Gs. Only found out a little more than a year ago that i have arthritis from the base of my noggin to mid spine. Wish i could afford a HANS, but the horsecollar is a must have nowadays even for lapping around the house while testing. Somedays i break the rules and ride without a lid while testing, but that just comes down to how much or little advil i have in me at the time.
BTW, could have sworn that i posted saying i didn't like the looks of this particular ride based on the cage/frame construction, looks as weak as my '03 in stock former--or even worse.
