Thanks for the help SYCARMS . Not to mention on the weekend too , appreciated . Gonna pursue the proper one , in the meantime gonna check out metric Heli - Coils ( never know , looks like one size apart , might make the perfect threaded sleeve ) if I use one with the smaller end , might also buy bulk inner cable with swegd'd ball end and use a barrel / screw type cable stop on the shifter end . My conduit and ends , and adjusters are intact .
