Got to agree with Tom on this one..
.I run Pro Honda Motorcyle oil (10W40) in my buggy for that very reason. I also run it in my motorcycle , golf cart, generators, lawnmowers,and tiller ...anything that is not water cooled. I have been doing this for years without any major engine failures.The other advantage using motorcycle oil its designed to be used in a gearbox and has a better sheer strength than regular oils do.
