Default Sprocket change on buggy with reverse

I want to change my sprockets to get more torque from my comet 40, however I have a series of sprockets (actually 4) to get to the axle. How can I accomplish this? It starts out at the jackshaft gear with 12T then to reverse gear with 25T then 18T and finally the axle sprocket with 60T. See pics attached. I was thinking about changing the jackshaft gear at the driven clutch to a 10T but not sure if this is the right thing to do to get more torque. Thanks

Reducing the size of the 12t or 18t or increasing the size of the 25t or 60t will gear your kart down. You will need to find which one is the most practical and available to accomplish this.

The jackshaft sprocket would be the easiest!! I believe they sell a 9t if a 10t doesn't gear you down enough.I would think a variety of the reverse sprockets would be hard to come by since that's a splined shaft. I don't see a much bigger axle sprocket fitting-with the pan still installed.

you are right metalstudman, I am maxed out due to some frame work and the pan. I am not sure what my gearing ratio would be if I went to a 9T on the jackshaft and left everything the same. The jackshaft is 5/8" dia. so I think they sell a gear for this setup not sure where though.
