1st Ride
Hi all,
Last weekend I bought a 2005 Joyner Sand Viper 250cc. Overall it was in great shape. The rear tires are brand new. It has an FMF pipe, jet kit and cone filter as the only after market mods. I needed to get the carb cleaned and replace the battery and that is it. It seems to be a great little buggy. I would have liked to have the CFmoto motor and IRS but I could not find any locally and I refuse to buy these new. That is in the newer models. It seams to have a fair amount of power. As i have learned reverse has issues am I correct, and it is nearly impossible to repair? My planned mods are: 1. 18g sliders 2. 1500-2000 RPM torsion spring 3. CDI & Coil 4. Any others??? I live out here in Phoenix and took it to a place called Bull Dog Canyon. I pulled a few very large hills fairly easily. Here is a small video on You Tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_KO1...e_gdata_player I would love to hear your recommendations. I breifly owned a Sunl 150cc and it was fun. I recently sold a Manco Intruder and am really pleased with this although I am nervous about the reverse gear. |

Its beautiful here. We have very diverse tails to ride. I appreciate the feedback. I got the buggy mainly to take my little 4 year old out. She loves the speed. I must admit I had fun.
