Carter buggy help!!!!!!!!!!

Looking for help / i have a carter gtr 250 2007
running one day and the temp light came on / pulled over let sit for about 15 min/ went to start -- no go / will crank but will not fire up/ towed it home thought maybe the pulg went bad / replace w-new plug / still no fire / test the pulg for spark - no spark -
??????????? Not sure why / maybe c.d.i unit / but can't get a new one for carter.

Anyone have a sugg. For a c.d.i replacement / or why this may of happened in the 1st place. Any other parts that may ned replace?
Any help will be great.

Makes me wonder if heat got to the cdi but the way you determine if the cdi is bad is to test the stator and the coil. You need a multi meter to do that. Do you have one?

cdi and engine parts are not hard to get. was the fan on when the temp light came on
