Default Carter 150 front end

I have a Carter 150 with a broken passengers side steering spindle. I am wondering if I install a Yerf spiderbox full front suspension if that would be a good upgrade for my steering and suspension.

No it was the strut/spindle where the steering mounts to it the weld on that bracket.
