Dude you need to understand a few things. First a nice sports car will cost you 30+ That sports car is not able to wheelie, run 80 across 2ft whoops, jump 15ft off the ground, let alone roll multible times in a crash

Yeah, I don't really know Chuck said. Buggies like what you posted cost ALOT... What you posted is basically a sand rail and they'll run $30,000 at the minimum. Now the plus side. You can get a mini buggy like an ASW Carbide like mine. It's a 150cc buggy that will run you $2200 new, it's got decent power, and it'll get you over most terrains you throw at it. Plus they're so easy to get performance parts for. Want more power? Get a Hammerhead 250. It's $3800 and I know it's got more power than mine. Want more power? Get a Yamabuggy 400 (google it). It's beautiful. It has a 400cc engine with a 5spd semi automatic transmission. I can imagine it's got gobs of power. Want yet more? Just go crazy and get an 800 or 1000. They'll be about $6,000-8,000. All of the previous buggies cost a fraction of the first but can be just as fun.

Umm, the one you posted, I've seen ones just like that one that do have Corvette engines in them.

I aint talking like your a kid. If I was I would break the cost down to you. FNR box 3000, Busa 3000, heims, 600, spool 1000, etc, etc. You asked for that type of buggy and I explained the cost.

Now a better way to find what you want is to tell us a budget. TutTek and build a desert race ready roller for like 3000 I believe. You'll still need the motor and all that though. Or you can do like me and buy a Joyner,Roketa, Bms used for 1000 and drop as many cc's as you got money and fab skills. Or get a vw rail for 2 grand.

If it were me I would look for a used buggy, let someone else take the depreciation hit. The economy is slow right now, there are many people that have lived well beyond their means and are now dumping their toys cheep to stay afloat, it is sad but a fact of life. There are some great deals out there right now if you are a cash buyer. try craigs list, ebay and just put the word out that you are looking. You may have to look a couple of turds before a nice buggy pops up but be patient and you will find a what you are looking for.

After a quick search i found these, they are not cheep by any means but, Speed costs money.... how fast do you want to go..

This one really looks like a great beginner buggy

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/rvs/2060731832.html

and a very inexpensive Joyner
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/rvs/2063217490.html

I guarantee you couldn't build any of these buggy's for a fraction of what you can buy these for and personally I have never paid asking price on anything I have ever bought so i would bet there is some wiggle room on the prices.

I don't know where you are from but when looking for these types of sand toys look where theres lots of sand. I just drove 1700 miles 2 weeks ago to pick up my Pilot out in California, and trust me it was worth the drive. I got exactly what I was looking for at well below market value and couldn't be happier with it.

I hope this helps & good luck

Same here, that one looks like a great deal.

How about this one?

I'd bet you lunch you could own this one for 3K if you show up with a trailer & fist full of "C" notes.

Very nice josh. I had to be pulled about 4 miles out a canyon by a Polaris when i melted the piston on my 350 earlier this summer. It was a good thing he came along and was willing to help or i dont know how I would have ever got my Odyssey out of that canyon.
