Starter Question
I just acquired a Helix 150. Being new to these machines, I wonder if someone can enlighten me on the proper operation of the start switch. On my buggy, the start switch has only two positions, off and start. That means the starter motor runs any time the switch is not in the off position. I have reviewed the owners manual, but have not found the answer to this question. Can someone please comment.

Are both of the kill switches off? And did you try starting it like a car? Turn the key past the run from the stop?

Starter Question
I have no problem starting the engine, and yes both of the kill switches are on. The issue is with the keyed start switch. It only has two positions, off and start. The typical start switch has three, off, on and start. I believe there is either a problem with the switch, or someone has installed the incorrect switch. I am simply trying to determine what is correct for the buggy.

On the helix, it is a three position. I'd say that if you only have two, you are correct and someone put the wrong switch in.

But the key doesn't stay in the third position.

When you turn the key to start and the engine starts. Does it stay in the start position? How do you kill the engine? By turning the switch to 'off' position or by using kill switches?
