Need Caliper for Carter Revo 150

My university, Michigan Tech, bought a Revo 150 as the shell for a mini-hybrid car. Long story short, I need to find a front left brake caliper for it ASAP. Could anyone point me in the right direction? I've called so many places that have nothing due to the fire at the Carter facility last summer.

Car without the powertrain:

Michigan Technological University received a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to develop a mobile Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) lab. The lab will be housed and conducted from a semi-truck trailer that contains four identical learning modules. Each learning module has a small hybrid vehicle with quick change components. The intent of this lab is to educate students of all ages, from grade school to graduate studies, as well as to provide outreach to the general public about hybrid technology. I don't know much about the electronic controls portion, but here are some of the technical specifications that I know.

Drive System: Parallel Hybrid - Custom jack shaft, Tom Wood's Custom drive shaft

Front Suspension: Dual A-Arm Geometric w/ Stock Preload Adjustable 18" Coil Shocks
Rear Suspension: Swing Arm w/ Progressive Suspension 425 SHK,RZR REAR 18.5" HD Coil Shocks
Front Brakes: Stock Dual Hydraulic 180mm Disc Brakes
Rear Brakes: Outlaw Hydraulic Disc Brakes (not sure on size)
Steering: Stock Rack & Pinion
Wheels: 15" Enkei J10
Tires: 195/50-15 Hankook-Ventus HRII H405

Call Tom (SYC Powersports). He's awesome at finding parts. He found a shaft I was looking for for months! 6 other places had no idea, Tom found it in about a week! Great guy!

Carter's warehouse and manufacturing facility was burned down. If parts are unique to Carter, they will be hard find. I suggest looking for alternative parts from another manufacturer that can provide support throughout your project duration even if some custom fabrication is required on the buggy.

post a picture of it, I think it maybe different than the older models with stut front ends. It may interchange with something else

From all the research I have done on this it seems that the brake caliper used is unique to the newest model Revo 150 and GTR 250. No other calipers seem to mount or operate the same. Fig. 20 in this link shows the part diagram on the GTR 250: http://www.carterbro.com/downloads/G..._Rear_Axle.pdf

be sure to post all kinds of info on that build you are doing. lWhat's the goal? What all has been done to date? etc. Looks pretty neat.

No, unfortunately it does not. The casting is grey and the mounting plate is a different shape. We may end up having to buy that caliper and try to modify it to fit.

Pictures of the caliper in question:

Theses are approximate measurements I was able to get with a set of measuring calipers:
-The mounting bolts are 8mm diameter and about 1" long. I do not know the thread.
-The plate on the caliper that the bolt screws into is .37" thick.
-The center of the upper mounting hole on the caliper is 2.4" from the center of the knuckle/rotor and just over an inch from the outer edge of the rotor.
-The center of the lower mounting hole on the caliper is 2.6" from the center of the knuckle/rotor and just under an inch from the outer edge of the rotor.
-The two holes are spaced 2.7" apart.

that looks like a rear caliper, but with out the parking brake , I might know where there is one at
