Newbie to go karts

Hello all I'm from Terrytown, Louisiana (bout 10 minutes from New Orleans) I'm here to do research on finding the right go kart for me. Basically I want something I can ride on the street around the neighbor hood but also able to go offroad on dirt and mud.

Go with a mini buggy. If you look around you can find good deals on them and they do so much more than what a regular go kart can do.

Just good ol' craigslist would work fine. Just gotta keep your eye out for them.

Look under RV's,motorcycles,general and barter

found a 2005 Yerf Dog 150cc for 600 bucks, guy told me it was sold though.
