Default Hello all!

Whats up everyone! My name is Matt, and am an automotive tech here in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. I've been into karting for a while now, built a simple little road kart a few years ago, and just completed a full custom rebuild of a mid/late 90's Manco Dingo for my boss. I must admit, i'm hooked! I really enjoy metalwork, welding, and fabricating, so I've decided to build my own off road buggy. I'll update with a thread in the franknbuggy forum when the project takes off. The plan is a 340cc Yamaha snowmobile engine(2 cyl, 2 stroke), front independent suspension with rear swing arm. I'm hoping to take it out on Michigan's sand dunes, so this will be fun..cant wait to get it done! I'm going to use a yerfdog spiderbox front end(found new, complete with rack for 150!), with some re-enforcements, and am shooting for a buggy that size, maybe slightly wider, and slightly lower. I'll have some questions for you guys, so help me out, i will greatly appreciate it.

Here are some pictures of my kart builds. My red 6.5HP kart does 38mph, the "banshee" dingo does 44mph using a HF 11hp engine, with Comet 40 series converter setup.
